Guyana Oil & Gas Courses

Working in association with GOGA, the Guyana Oil & Gas Association, we are delighted to bring two of our courses to Georgetown in the second half of 2017, as part of a broader program to help develop the local oil and gas industry.

Guyana has a long history of oil exploration, and its recent discoveries have attracted significant interest from international oil companies such as ExxonMobil, Repsol, Anardarko, CGX, Hess and several others. Some analysts are comparing Guyana’s potential to that of Angola, now the second largest oil producer in sub-Saharan Africa.  With a population of fewer than one million, Guyana will be able to export almost all it produces, with the potential to transform its economy.

It is essential to develop local talent to manage the oil wealth, ensuring the country has the right scientific, engineering and management skills required to compete internationally.
